Picture
Chris Rea is currently a doctoral student and graduate research associate at the Ohio State University College of Public Health in the Environmental Health Sciences division (Columbus, Ohio, USA).  His current research is focused on schistosomiasis in the Sichuan province of southwestern China.  Chris’ broad research interests include understanding the role and impact of ecological changes on infectious diseases.  Chris completed his MPH at Ohio State in 2009 and previously received his B.A. in Sociology from Vanderbilt University.  When not logging hours at his favorite local coffee house, he enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, biking, kayaking, and taking photos.
