Undergraduate Opportunities
Geoscience Research at Storm Peak (GRASP) funded by NSF's "Opportunities for enhancing diversity" to provide a year long mentoring program for Undergraduates, preferably students of diversity (in the geoscience, diversity is defined as African Americans, Native Americans, Hispanics, Pacific Islanders). Yet, all exceptional student are welcome. This includes a field course at Storm Peak this summer and a trip to Howard University's campus next winter. The students will be paid a stipend for their time and all travel expenses are covered.
